The images are just now making an appearance for what is being reported as a terror attack against Israeli tourists who were using public commercial transportation for their initial travel. I am unable to attribute this particular image, but yeah, it is a bus in flames. Reports on the ground state a gunman first opened fire on the occupants of the bus. The assailant then functioned as a suicide bomber. As of yet, no group is claiming responsibility for this action. This image, is captured from a jihad portal.
Update: Rumors in MSM range from al-Qaeda to Iranian terrorism in what continues to be a developing story. Many questions remain unanswered. But the other night my husband and I watched "Munich" again - the rather dark recount of the Olympic massacre and hunt for the perpetrators of that vicious act. We are counting down to the London Olympics, and we all remember 7/7 and the tube system attack by Islamic terrorists.
Israel and Jewish citizens continue to be targeted in sporadic manner throughout the world. The other day my mother wanted to visit an area synagogue to check out their gift shop. I was a bit taken aback to see a security guard patrolling the grounds. But then, I remembered that nature of the world we live in - one in which ethnicity and citizenship can be targeted.
Prayers are extended to the families of the deceased and injured.
