Naser Abdo: Violating his Oath of Office to Mount an Attack

Let me be brief:

If the highest oath is to Allah

If the highest goal is an act of fratricide

Do not join our ranks.

Prayer for the Citizens of Norway

My first thoughts when seeing the government buildings in Oslo was to note it looked like the Marine barracks in Beirut. The second thought was that it reminded me of Oklahoma City. There was little doubt it was a terror attack instead of a gas line explosion.

Many of us immediately made the leap to an attack mounted by Al-Qaedah or one of its affiliates. We were wrong. I was wrong. The answer to the question was much less complex and may not involve a web but only a solitary spider.

The label applied to the suspect is "right wing Christian extremist".

It is the acts against humanity which count. What happened yesterday causes what occurred in Arizona to pale by comparison. I just cannot get my head around a man who targets a gathering of young adults and fires at will and in remorseless manner.

The emotion for such acts are unforgiving and unrelenting rage against society.

No words of comfort are sufficient for the deep national grief lapping across Norway today. It is in such times, that we offer our prayers

Jihad Cartoon Film Trailer

Readers,

The file sharing site which hosted the jihad film trailer is no longer available. I should have saved the thumbnails!

If I can locate it in a different format or on a different forum I will post it again.

Oslo Bomb Blast: The Images

These are images coming across the jihad media flank. There are graphic photos of dead and injured. I will not post the images. Neither will I post the criminally insane statements which are contained within the threads which discuss this event.

A solitary image of a man has made an appearance. No real sense as to the significance of the photo. His face is unfamiliar. But almost as soon as these things pop, the banners are churned out glorifying the deed. Norway intelligence will sort it out in the aftermath of the attack.

Prayers are extended to the citizens of Norway.

Killing Americans: How Terrorists Teach Their Students

It is easy really. Two dozens images and step by step instructions on how to pull the powdered sugar out of the pantry and work with a bit of acetone peroxide, ethyl alcohol, nitro, etc. A few grams of this and a few grams of that will work. Use your candy thermometer to get things to just the right temperature as you mix up the recipe for death. Learn how to attach the detonating wires and pick the phones. Attach the "motherfucking detonator" (their words) and apply a good adhesive to attach it to the vehicle.

Killing Americans.

Made simple.

Offered up by an internet jihad recruiter.

The readers know my stance on this issue.

Policy. Policy does not equal the asymmetrical threat.

I support a new suite of laws strategically directed against jihad webmasters.

News of the World: A Scandal Tabloid Collapses when the Trap Snaps Shut

The News of the World set their traplines with increasingly sophisticated construction over the years. But their own journalistic foot is now snapped in the snare which they used to court their readership.

Scandal. It can be the result of patient and painstaking journalistic investigation. Or it can be mere journalistic incantation. The staff of the tabloid chose black ops, the use of detectives and phone hacking to create their Sunday page. They crossed a line when it was found that the voice mails of a murdered girl had been hacked in pursuit of their seedy journalistic craft.

Sure, Prince William also suffered his own hacking episode. But what can be said of ripping apart the privacy of the family of a murdered child? Why are journalists happily agreeable to reading intercepted e mails passed on to them? What sick mind enjoys reading in anonymous manner the final thoughts of a dead child whom they did not love? Is there a name for this sickness? Probably not. But there are legal terms which address the behavior.

So now the U.K.'s best-selling Sunday paper is going to shutter their operations. The News Corp. will stump away with their mutilated foot. The Murdoch family of newspapers has a huge crisis of confidence. The stench goes all the way to the top. The buck stops with the CEO.

Scandals make for fun reading - except when the scandal is your own.

Military Bookends

It is a pleasure to see military bookends on the page of the Daily Times. Simon and Garfunkel provide the musical accompaniment.

Caylee Anthony Verdict: A Triumph for the Letter of the Law

I did not watch the trial proceedings of Casey Anthony. Reading in skeletal manner, I preferred to merely acknowledge the bones of the case. A child disappeared. A body was found. When children die of unknown cause society must respond. Survival of the fittest as presented by Darwin would have little regard for Caylee Anthony. Survival of the fittest for a Christian means protection of the weakest link for the survival of the complete community of souls.

The jury responded with a triumph for the letter of the law. Americans should not fear a jury of their peers locking them up minus a trail of physical evidence which recreates the crime scene and also places the accused at the scene of the crime.

But perhaps the letter of the law was impacted by the spirit of the jurors. None of us want to consider that a mother will deliberately take the life of what is created in her image. We also do not wish to consider that fertility can provide the mechanism for the future release of hidden rage against humanity when parents make their own children a target.

Casey Anthony took her time reporting the disappearance of Caylee Anthony. Her behavior showed callous disregard for her child. The jury could have easily considered the issue of child endangerment and child abuse. They chose not to put the skunk on the table. Perhaps the horror of considering the unknown factors in the death of a child caused them to find their solace in the letter of the law. But I do have to reflect on this a bit. In light of this verdict can we dismantle Child Protective Services?

Human Liberty

Americans enjoy freedoms which are distant dream and insurmountable hope for the citizens of the vast majority of the world.

How little we grasp the utterly miserable state of governance in many nations.

America has little need for revolution or reactionary politics.

Our politics should be maintained with a posture of guardianship and gentle stewardship.

As we move through the 4th of July with peace - a gift of good governance - let us also be at peace in our hearts.

The state of our Union is strong. This is not the time in our history for tearing down but building up. Not the time of the sword but for the shield. America and her values will prevail. The gift of human liberty will remain: borne on the shoulders of good men, full of grace, kindness and with a succinct understanding of the concept of guardianship.

Proud to be an American

As we continue to rejoice in the tremendous freedoms and strength of governance afforded by our Constitution may we reflect on the many American soldiers who will spend this holiday away from the family bar-b-cue.

Proud to be an American

Always. Without apology.

Arlene Ocasio: An Anti-Constitutionalist Empties Her Magazine on American Veterans

What do you call a woman who defies the Constitution of the United States to issue mini executive orders directed against United States military and their families?

How should the courts address a woman who has abused her authority to bring public harassment against grieving military families?

What is the reason that Arleen Ocasio strips a Christian house of worship of the symbols of worship: Bibles, Crucifix, and the bells which have dual sound - both mournful and joyous?

Would she also have the fortitude to strip mosques of their Qur'an, prayer rugs and scrub the Arabic calligraphy off their walls? Or perhaps she favors pulling prayer shawls off the heads of the Jews and to torch their Torah?

Who is this woman and why does she still have a job? The American taxpayer writes her check. The American soldier ensures she resides in safety.

Are you upset yet? You should be mad as hell. This anti-Constitutionalist has emptied her magazine. She has dishonored veterans. And she sure as hell has violated the Constitution of the United States.

Jihad Consolidated: The Chernobyl Effect

The news of the day regarding jihad media outlets can be somewhat like ordering a soup du jour. The taste is predictable. This week media reports the hacking of a major jihad portal which is used by Al-Qaedah to disperse their spores. Not lacking in humor, the jihad industry responds with the inauguration of a site which will function as the mother of all jihad sites. This is Jihad Consolidated, a media organism with tentacles which will draw from current events and also archived material.

Pulling up the home page I found the mission statement to be true regarding their capability to resurrect dead jihad portals. One film (with President George W. Bush) came from a site called "Iraq Lion", dedicated to the memory of Saddam Hussein. The site was knocked off the grid quite a long time ago. I have yet to enter the new site except in cursory manner, but I expect to see other jihad spaces which have been blackened to use this site to further their cause. Many are the sites which have been knocked out in recent years. Yet many more remain.

The home page loads with photos of traumatized children, tanks and helicopters. No surprise in this regard. Willingness to harness children to suicide vests in Pakistan and show children as victims of the West on jihad sites merely shows the schitzy personalities of the players.

A video almost an hour in length makes the home page. These longer productions usually mix violent images with Sheikh-of-the-Day chats about jihad.

I have always been and continue to be a proponent of hacking all sites and putting webmasters under tech arrest. They can work, live and move about freely. But the second their fingers touch a laptop or cell phone to mount a psychological attack baiting violence against non-combatants, a new suite of laws will address their fate.

We are stupid to merely diagram it as a need for intelligence gathering as the reason to keep the sites up and running. Here is the quandry and think about this today. The next man who is arrested for terror activities may very well have had his attention arrested first - by a jihad site. Call it a chicken/egg argument. But I think it is a good one.

We are allowing poison in the ground water. Call it the Chernobyl Effect
