The resurgence of Islam in Egypt is leaning toward demands for a code of conduct, dress code, etiquette and law as practiced in the seventh century.
A Facebook campaign is being mounted by a specific political flank to see men in Egypt grow beards, and more importantly, for women to veil themselves again.
The goal is one million veiled women by Ramadan.
Should the plan work, expect to see two million female eyes peering out from darkened and captive minds. Their right to education will suffer next.
Words do not suffice, I am at a loss, for such a miserable state of affairs.
